DEAR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS
If anyone needs help with anything please feel free to call us. We will try to help.
Yippee its finally Spring. I'm sure we are all happy the sunshine finally came out. Lets think barbeque, sunshine, outdoor walks, yeahhhhhh.
Thank you Pauline and Susan for your generous donations.
We had a great meeting last week so theres lots to tell. We have a few folks who are going to work on raising money as Susan's Jewelry will be closing the end of this month. I for one am sad. I love you Susan, hope all goes well with your future plans. She is our main sponser so we need other outside help to continue our work.
We are looking into doing a gala to sell art and our wood panels and may have a place to do it. Lance is looking into that. Thanks Lance. Peg Anthony and Deb will look into The selling art auction.
Anthony's Idea was to get an easel of sorts so where ever we go we can display our name and another person said to make up maybe one sided brochures and have our business cards in a tray for people to take. Great ideas. They will be getting back to me with their sketches and prices. Lance is going to ask his mother if he can put out wood lock boxes at their businesses to collect money for us.
If anyone knows of a sponser we can add to our newsletter let us know. Even if they donate 25.00 to 50. bucks that would be great. Anything would be a blessing. I don't want to lose Eagle Eyes. Thanks You can call 6412945 or mail a check to Cheryl MItchell 352 Lake ave. Manchester NH 03103. Make the check out to Eagle Eyes Community Org. We are a 501c3. We have tried some big company's but they donate to the big guys so theres nothing left for the little folks like us so we have to search and thank those who help.
We are going to have a Block Party again at Enright park this year. We have 2 folks working on this and if you want to be a part of it call us we would love it. My husband and I are on that committee. John is also looking into the Life Church as they had theres at Enright last year and it was a super one. Maybe they can help or be a part of ours.
We have a few murals to finish and touch up. Anthony has some Charter school kids who will be helping. If you want to help Call Eagle Eyes and we will get you in touch with Anthony. I asked for the team to do a Jungle Scene on the side of my garage this year. I am so excited as I got a yes to have it done.
We would love to do clean ups in alleys or for seniors some light yard work. We would love to have any donation you would give us but if you can't thats ok we can still help. I have said this in the past but no one every responded this is the last time I ask. If your alley or sidewalks look crappy and needs a clean up let us know. If you are a senior and need some light raking or trimming let us know we can help. Call Cheryl or John at 603-641-2945. Anthony works for Brownies or any sort of chocolate..... right Anthony?
Pauline, Elaine and John will be having a yard sale as they do every year at the Church of God on Moorseville road. They are not sure of the date yet but I will email it to you when we receive it. They have let Eagle Eyes join them. If you have any products or clothes that are in good condition and want to get rid of them call us 6412945.
If you want to come to the yard sale it is 20.00 a table and you keep your own money that you earn from selling your items. You can call Pastor Kevin at 603-625-2732.
The pictures above are that of the Salmon Release and George May's project at the piscataquog river park on the west side on Prescott St. He has asked us if we could do a mural with Kids and adults of progressing pictures of the school kids raising the salmon eggs all the way to the end where there is a Salmon jumping out of the water. It is a 60 foot wall so many murals can go on this wall. If you and your family want to be a part of this and can do some art please contact John at 603-641-2945. Thanks. The tentative time will be end of may beginning of June.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US. YOU ARE ALL APPRECIATED SOOOO MUCH. BE HAPPY AND HAVE A GREAT SPRING.
We, the "Eagle Eyes" of Manchester are a group of neighbors and friends centered in the Lake Ave. area of Manchester who are committed to improving the quality of life in our neighborhood. We are a volunteer and non-profit organization willing and eager to cooperate with any and all city agencies to attain our goal through crime watches and awareness: public outreach, beautification efforts and the utmost safety of all those to whom we reach out. We encourage the participation of all other like-minded individuals regardless of their georgraphical location in New Hampshire, political affilliations or office held. We, as a group are in agreement that "No efforts based on good intentions are fruitless", and that even the smallest example of progress is a net gain to all. We have gathered as a group in the wake of a tragedy, and dedicate our efforts to the legacy of Officer Michael Briggs, to whom the city of Manchester owes a debt of gratitude. So help us God
Our group was born out of this tragedy to show that our communities can come forward and take a stand with strength, determination, and goodness. We will continue this journey and where ever it takes us we will be there. We have achieved much greatness in everything that we have done and will do. Be proud of yourselves.
